I woke groggy and hungover.
I was fairly certain I hadn’t been drinking.
But just like with a hangover, it was a struggle collect my memory from the previous evening.
I groaned my semi-consciousness, as I rolled onto my back.
“Fuck!” I screeched and Astrid bolted upright looking around, panicked.
“What?! What happened?” she turned to scan me up and then down.
“Oh,” Astrid calmed, “Still sore... [Continue Reading]
Astrid seemed in high spirits as we strolled along the now familiar street to the tattoo shop.
As we drew close, I could see the storefront was lit up like the last time we were there.
Astrid continued to tease me with what she had planned for us as I opened the jangling door for her.
“You want me to do what?” I heard Road Rash... [Continue Reading]
Astrid pulled me onto the sofa to lie on her chest.
It felt so safe to lie like that, having my hair stroked, my wrists tied.
We breathed together.
“Maybe you could call me Mistress,” Astrid nearly mumbled, “Now and then, I mean.”
“Yes, Mistress,” I closed... [Continue Reading]
I just couldn’t go with the suit for the presentation.
I loved how it looked.
I really did.
It just didn’t feel okay.
Or... [Continue Reading]
Being lashed over cane strokes burned away my bleakness.
I cried, heavy aching sobs, as each stroke fell.
Maybe it was a release after the presentation, or being told to look more normal.
Or needing to be good, but feeling like I was bad.
I didn’t tell Astrid any of that, but she seemed to understand something anyway.
By the time she was done, the bedspread was... [Continue Reading]
The shop called early that evening. They managed to fix the Vespa surprisingly quickly, which made me wonder if the exorbitant fee had been somewhat inflated. My suspicions were raised further by the liberal use of ’little ladies’ and ’darlin’s’ from the mechanics to refer to Astrid and myself.
Their attitude set my teeth on edge and clearly made Astrid uncomfortable, so I chose not to haggle.
Once on the street with the Vespa, Astrid circled it, as if worried it would... [Continue Reading]
I hadn’t realised I had picked up and buckled on the collar until Astrid mentioned it.
It was automatic.
And I was stressed out of my mind.
Getting my hair floofed and makeup done was a world away from our other recent dressing-up escapade.
That blew every part of my mind.
When Astrid... [Continue Reading]
The bus pulled away and I watched Astrid disappear.
I stood in front of the doors, numb, somehow expecting them to open again.
It took several moments to realise I had no idea where I was actually going but I was certainly going in the wrong direction.
I stepped off the bus at the next stop and... [Continue Reading]
Caroline called Sunday to say Astrid had agreed to meet me at Loose Lips, but gave no indication of whether she would accept me or not.
Caroline also told me that if I was to do this, she would arrange everything but I would be expected to follow the protocol to the letter.
It was to be a ceremony in which I would be presented to Astrid to offer myself to her and I was to come to The Hearth early Friday to be prepared.
In the meantime, I was expected to study the ceremony and... [Continue Reading]
What's next?!
Two things.
Number one: We make a physical edition! There will soon be news on how to order a physical copy of the book which will include... [Continue Reading]
